Goodwill Industries of the Valleys

2023 Community Impact

To Our Community,

As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude and pride for what we have accomplished together. Thanks to your generous support, Goodwill Industries of the Valleys has been able to serve more individuals in our region, helping them achieve their goals of employment, training, education, and independence.

We have adapted and innovated to meet the changing needs of our communities. We have expanded our online services with My Career Advisor and continue to focus on Career Navigation for adults. We continue to offer services for youth, individuals with disabilities, and older workers. We have been diligently working toward our new Melrose Plaza project in Roanoke. We have also invested in our infrastructure, technology, and operations, to ensure that we can deliver high-quality services to our team members, clients, shoppers, donors, and community partners.

These are just some of the examples of how we have made a difference in the lives of thousands of people in our communities. We could not have done it without you — our loyal donors, shoppers, and partners. You are the reason we exist, and the reason we can continue to work toward our vision of eliminating poverty.

As we look ahead to 2024, we are excited and optimistic. We have a strategic plan that guides our direction and priorities, and a talented and dedicated team that executes our plan. We invite you to join us in our journey. And we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your trust, generosity, and partnership.

Thank you for your continued commitment.
